Do you have a different SD card? A bad SD card can cause exactly these symptoms. Did you try the original SD card?

What’s the camera model? GC-what? If you are using the app, what’s the firmware date?

The fact that the green light is flashing means that the camera does have power. Something is preventing it from booting, though.

The credits won’t come into play until the camera comes up. Are the SD cards class 10, standard size?

This is going to sound crazy, but try updating the firmware. I know it’s the latest version, but a camera behaving like this is usually either the SD card or firmware.

The firmware can be downloaded here. Make sure the SD card is empty. Download the file once. It should not have any spaces or parentheses or numbers in parentheses. The instructions for downloading are below the list of firmwares. You will use the manual method with the playback button. It’s a long shot but worth trying.

Anything ever get figured out? Mine is doing the same exact thing! 2 quick green blinks followed by 5 or 6 longer green blinks.

Jeff, I would try the manual firmware update as I suggested in the post before yours. For some reason, dead batteries throw a kink into the system and updating the firmware (even though it’s the version that’s on the camera) sometimes straightens things out.

I downloaded it and did the manual directions, but the camera isn't responding on the screen.

only the continual green 2 quick blinks followed by 5 or 6 longer blinks.

Jeff I called tech support and nothing we did helped, so I am sending it in for repair tomorrow, I’ll post when I find out more

I've tried a different SD card, batteries are new lithium batteries, nothing is working. This is more frustrating for me as I just sent in my other camera and was told it was the circuit board. A $150 to replace or buy a new camera at a slight discount.
