New 4lg camera not working properly

I have a 3lg camera within 40 feet of my 4lg camera.  It takes pictures of animals that my new camera does not.  Can't find any information on how to set camera for pictures.  Does not take any pictures in the daytime.

  What model camera? GC-what? Is the firmware current? Are you using a name brand, standard size, class 10, speed 80 MB/s or faster, 32 G or less SD card?
  
  Here are some example settings. I’m not sure exactly what you mean about not being able to set the camera for pictures. Do you have start-stop times set, by any chance, or a daily limit other than 0?
