Camera not taking photos
My 2 month old Go Cam is not taking pictures. wondering if the proximity (motion detector) sensor isn't working. The problem is not the Network (Verizon). I know this because I took a manual photo and pushed send manually on the camera and it did send photo to my phone as expected. I checked the SD card and no photos were on it. I replaced the SD card and that wasn't the issue as it still did not hold any photos. Im not happy about the situation as I need the camera right now. Thanks to anyone who may have answers.

Which model camera? GC-What?
is your firmware current?
if you took and sent a manual photo, that photo should have been on the card but you seem to say that not even that photo was on the card.
Have you checked your settings to be sure that something hasn’t gotten changed accidentally? Check sensitivity, send is on, daily limit is 0, no start stop times.
SD cards are standard size class 10, 80 MB/s speed, 32 G or less, and formatted in the camera.

It’s the GC- Z4
Th settings were never changed as the camera suddenly stopped sending photos to my phone. So I went out and took the camera down to see what’s wrong.
I manually took a photo to see if it was the network and it did send to my phone. So then I knew it wasn’t a network problem. I then took the camera home to diagnose more and now when I turn the camera on and manually take a photo. I then push send and it then says “setting” then “sending” then “retrying” then “failed”. So now it’s not sending any photos at all.
I would appreciate a phone call if possible. It would be much easier to figure out the problem. Thank you very much. -
Matt there is someone that checks email on the weekends so I would email support. Liz and I work remotely and aren't at the office but we'll help your as best as we can. First thing I would do is a hello test in the cameras menu and see if it passes or fails. This does sound like it could be an SD card issue though. What card (size. Class and speed) are you using. Is this a new camera or one that's been out for a while and stopped working? Where are you getting your data from?

Ok, that's the camera trying to find signal. I would default the camera in it's menu. Also send that email to tech support so if we can't get you working you'll be in the system and get a return email sooner. As things change with the cellular network cards that used to work might not anymore. What type of cards are you using? Did you format them in the camera?

Hello test failing means that you do not have a data connection. You’re going to have to check on your data plan. However it may be the SD card.
I think you have an SD card problem. The so-called trail cam SD cards are designed for non-cell cams. Cell cams require faster cards. If you tried three of the same not-right cards, none of them would work. You need a standard size class 10, 80 MB/s minimum speed, no larger than 32 G capacity.

My camera is not taking or sending photos. Has worked for 2 months. Stood in front of it for 20 minutes. Happened about a month and a half ago, had to manually delete all photos on the website before it would send new photos. Now it won’t take or send photos. The SD card is fine and full signal strength.

Daniel,
What model camera? GC-what? Is the firmware current?
Deleting photos from the website has nothing to do with whether photos are sent or not. Photos are deleted from the web site each day, after they've been there for 30 days.If it's a Verizon camera, you may be affected by the Verizon outage that's hit various parts of the country.
What does the camera say when you take/send a manual photo? Where are you getting your data? If from Verizon, AT&T, or US Cellular, do you have premium credits?
On the status report, when was the last time the camera contacted the server?
What battery voltage does the status report show? What kind of batteries are you using?
