What camera model(s) and where are you  purchasing your data from?

All are GC-A4Gb with data bought through Spartan (HCO is where the receipt comes from).

You probably won’t have to set up as new. They should still be on your account so you shouldn’t have to register them. You are right about purchasing data plans, updating firmware, and you’ll probably have to update the app, as well.

I like to leave them running all year long and try setting up in different locations catching different types of critters. You never know what you might get on camera.

If you don't want the expense of running as cell cams all year, run as regular trail cams by turning send from instant to off (camera menu, fourth tab).

If run as regular cams, should I remove the antenna and put the little yellow plug back in instead. I'm worried snow might break the antenna off....or a bear might eat it!

I don't think that snow would, but if you're concerned about that, put the yellow cap on and I'd tape it down, too, because it's not a very secure fit.

I took your advice John and let the cameras run. Not sure where all the critters went but on five cams I've only seen a squirrel in the last 1+ months. 8-)

Well, that's disappointing. Do you have a scheduled picture or two set up throughout the day so the camera checks in at least once or twice?

Oh yeah - morning and afternoon pictures of pristine snow. 8-)
Weather hasn't been below zero much, but I am happy the lithium batteries seem to be holding strong going on three months.

Lithium work real well for me in the cold
