If I purchase the AT&T data plan in October and don't use the camera until November, will I lose the October month I paid for?

  Yes, the time portion of the plan starts when you purchase it. Where are you buying the data from, Spartan or ATT?

  Whether you buy from AT&T or Spartan, don’t purchase your data plan until a few days before you want to deploy the camera. You do want to run it at home at least a couple of days before you put it out just to be sure it’s working the way you want it to and you have it set the way you want it.

  One or the other, the Spartan plan includes the premium credits and you can stop and start it without activation fees. If you go through Verizon directly and add it to your existing phone plan it's $5 a month plus Verizon's taxes and then $3 a month for the premium credits which allow you to use the app and have complete control of all camera settings remotely.

  Better try it now and make sure it works. No matter water do not purchase from at&t buy a session. If camera fails as mine you lose all of your plan.

  Dan,

  I'm running 17 cameras on Buy-A-Session right now and have been using BAS since it became an option for cameras. If I've had cameras go down, I've moved the SIM right to the replacement camera without any trouble.
