Dark Night Pics
GC-Z4GB2
Have noticed much darker images at times when having the camera fire multiple images back to back.
Example....Photo burst set to 3. Trigger interval 0. The first pic will be fine. Second pic it appears half the flash/LEDS were used. Third pic is fine.
Noticed this on multiple cams so it's a consistent issue. Battery life is P5 on all night pics.
Is it firing so fast the flash cant keep up? Is this a way the cams save on batt life and maybe it's built into the programming?
Is there a way around this concerning the settings that I have possibly missed?

It's nothing intentional that I know of. Have you tried two shot burst to see if the second picture is brighter? Also I don't know if it works for your situation but there's also photo+video. I do know this has been discussed before but I don't know if a solution has been found yet, it's being looked into.

It did the same thing on a 2 shot burst. Even on a 1 minute interval the first trigger was fine, second pic was dark. Cam would wait another minute before being armed and same result. First pic fine, second pic much darker.
I haven't tried the photo+video yet. I'm worried the vids will eat my data up and at this point there still doesn't seem to be a method of monitoring data usage. Have paid for the 3 month plan but I have no idea how much data I've used and kinda worried the hammer will drop on me and i'll have to renew any day. We really need a date usage meter on these things.
They are working great and are a fantastic tool....just need a way to see data usage.
