New sim card

Hi, I bought 2 cameras (gc) from spartan. In the process of setting the cameras up, I lost the Verizon SIM card that came with the camera. I went to Verizon and bought the exact SIM card with a different number. Is there anything I need to do now that the camera won’t register? I have one camera up and working but can’t get the second one to register.

  Is the second camera on your Verizon account? Does it pass the Hello test? (Camera in setup mode, on the cell network, Menu, fourth tab, scroll down to Diagnostics, Hello test)

  It’s not on my Verizon account, either is the first one. I just bought a data service through spartan. So not sure about that. And the hello test failed. X2

  If you bought data from Spartan, your cameras won’t be on your Verizon plan. Have you gotten an email from Spartan confirming activation of your plans? Sometimes that takes a little time. The Hello test fails because you don’t have active data plans. Give it a little time (as long as you’ve gotten the purchase confirmation).

  I bought one data plan and that camera is up and working good. When I try to add the second camera, it just s asks for the module number and registration number. Do I need to buy another data plan?

  Yes, you need a plan for each camera
