No response when switched to “On”

Set up the camera just fine, shows up on my app. Switched from “setup” to “On” with no response. The screen stays black, even when I press the menu and Ok buttons to try to elicit a response.

  Jay, one thing to do is if you have a cellcom cellphone you can put the sim from the camera in it and see if you can do a Google search. Text and phone calls don't matter but if you can use data to do the search then the Sim should be good. Make sure your WiFi is turned off on the phone if you do this.

  Blake, 

  When the camera is ON, the screen should be black and there won’t be any response to any of the buttons. The screen is on and and the buttons work only when the camera is in setup.
