Ghost Cam lithium power drain

Why would my new Ghost camera drain 12 new lithium batteries in 2 days , how are you suppose to

pre charge the camera before taking it to the field if you cannot use a 110 power converter ?

I put 12 new lithium batteries in my new ghost cam out of the box. Initially the low battery power light was on then the red light went to full charge and lasted about 2 days and drained the batteries , I defaulted the camera 2 different times etc.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

    All your cameras should have power save turned on unless you need it off for a particular reason.

    Setting is on photo only and power saving on.

    Last word I got was a 12v DC output with 1amp should be sufficient. Almost all power adapters have the center as positive but you probably want to make sure that's the case when you purchase one.

    Why would power savings default back to no with out my changing settings ?

    Batteries  depleted again

    External voltage  7.42

    Internal voltage 3.55

    Battery strength indicator showing red

    Is this a setting I am going to have to verify everyday that is in power saving mode ?

    24 lithium batteries wasted in one week.

    So power save turned itself off? That is very odd and I don't think I've heard of that before. Did you make another settings change recently and may have hit it accidentally? Does anyone else have admin access to your account?

    I hooked up my new 110 power converter to my Ghost cam. 

    External voltage is now :   12.21 Volts

    Internal voltage is now :.      3.85 Volts

    Battery strength indicator is now showing   3 bars.

    Is  this ok ?

    I think that sounds like you should be fine. Please keep us posted on how the battery indicator fluctuates. What P# is showing on the pics?
