Camera not working correctly

Put 12 AA batteries in and it started taking nonstop pictures till the batteries died about a day and a half. Put new batteries 2 days ago and same thing happened again. Trying to figure out what is going on

  What letter is on the info strip of the photos? M, T, or something else?
