What model camera and how many pictures and videos has it transmitted? Cellular cameras are a lot harder on batteries than non cellular cameras.

That sounds about right, especially if you have requested videos and HD's

I just bought a new Spartan, had Spypoint and both went down in a year.  Put camera out with new lithium batteries and it took 413 pictures and batteries were dead. No videos or anything. The spypoints would last 3-4 months.

It should last longer than that. Did you have power save turned on? What model camera?

Model GC-V4Gi I guess I didn't see the power save, I will have to look. Probably will need the external battery. I hate going in checking this area.

You'll also want to make sure that the firmware is up to date and that you are using a name brand SD card that's 32gb or smaller, class 10 and 80mbs or faster

The firmware is up to date and the card was right. Unless my batteries were bad, but bought them new.

Check out the power save setting on the app and see what it's set to. Also look on the online portal and see if the photos are numbered sequential or if there are gaps.
