Stopped texting photos (Verizon)

Hi, my camera has stopped texting photos .. we have Verizon and we pay $5 a month for the premium service.

  Verizon has been filtering the text pictures treating them like potential spam. Best thing to do is use the app, especially since you are paying for premium or try and set up an auto forward from Gmail to your text messages. The link below has instructions on the forward. With this happening your camera is working fine they are just getting filtered after they get sent to your phone.

  i also have it set to email the pic but don't receive them except for doing the "test" pic.  they aren't in my Yahoo SPAM folder either.

  That may be something similar to the Verizon filtering. Are you getting pictures to the app?

  i downloaded the Spartan App and received 3 pics and nothing more.  when i click on LOG under Info in the mobile app a lot of them say "No photo available".  these are new batteries.

  That log message just means there were no new pictures when the app checked. Any chance there are only 3 new photos? Have you checked the online portal to see if there's pictures there that didn't get to the app?

  Just to clarify, you are paying Verizon $5/month plus taxes and fees for data service. You pay Spartan Camera an additional $3-4/month for premium service, which gives access to the app and portal. 

  Have you set some scheduled events (both status reports and photos) so that the camera checks in periodically even if it hasn’t taken any motion-triggered photos? If not, you may want to do that.

  Maybe try setting up a gmail address. I have one camera set to go to email for testing purposes and then forwarded to me as text and that seems to be working fine. I have another camera that I’ve set to go straight to Verizon text and I get the occasional pic that way, but it’s not at all reliable.
