I've gotten multiple messages on my phone that photos have been sent.  When I go to the home page all I get is checking server.

  Sounds like maybe your phone doesn't have strong signal at the moment. You can try turning off WiFi and see if that makes a difference. You can also log out of the app and back in. Make sure you allowed all permissions for the app too. Is this a new setup or one that's been working previously?
