Iphone (ATT) not receiving photos via text

    You need to go to the online portal and set up the phone number as an email address and then add it in mobile access. I will warn you that the cell carriers block the pictures to text very very often treating them like they are spam. If that happens there may be another way around it that sometimes works. Can I ask why you want the pictures sent to text instead of using the app?

    When I first purchased the camera back in 2017, I was able to set up the MMS and the pictures were texted.  No reason other than I just prefer the texts via the app and that I enter my friends phone number.  I'm guessing the SPAM issue is what's occurring.

    You can have your friend download and set up the app with his own username and password and then you can share the cameras with him giving him either guest or admin access.
