Ghost Cam vs GoCam: Not Sure it's worth it
I have 2 GoCams. Love them. Run them with AT&T service and buy the service through them at $75 for 12 months and 4 gb of data.
I was in need of a 3rd cam, so decided to get the "latest" and greatest, the Ghost Cam.
I had watched a YouTube video and thought I was buying a camera with Live video capabilities. Quickly realized that's not the case.
Then I went to purchase service. I realized I had to purchase through Spartan. Spartan's only yearly option is $199.99 for 12gb.
Why is this camera $100 more than the GoCam and why is service so much different in price?

The service includes a lot more data than the ATT data plan and it also includes the premium credits. Most people go with the 3 month plan for $35.99 so you might want to look at that next time. The Ghost model has direct connect solar and an internal battery so you don't need an external battery like the standard GoCam models. I've been running one for over a year with no batteries in the camera and just the solar panel. The camera has batch sending which allows you to have the pictures sent to you at specific times that you choose if you'd like and it also has the GPS built in to it to help if it's stolen.
