batteries

Hello,  I have an older gocam that I use as a trail camera only, with no sending etc. Recently I have found that my batteries last 3-4 days. I use Energizer Ultimate Lithium ..... so last week I put fresh batteries in , turned the camera off and had it on my desk and a week later it was dead again even with the unit off ? Has anyone had this happen ? Is there a fix ?               Thank you,  Garry
