    So you got a 6:00 status report but no picture? What are the battery levels?

    It had taken pictures of deer up till about 4:45 am then it started taking random pictures at about 5:06 am and didn’t stop til about 7:40 am. The battery levels are high. I have internal AAS and a external 12v. The next picture it took was a scheduled pict at 12:00 and a scheduled status report at 4:00pm then no other scheduled event or pictures.
    It took a total of about 155 pictures from 5:06 am to about 7:30 am.
    Last night at midnight is started taking pictures again and took 200 from midnight until 2:27 am then it took a scheduled pict at 7:00 am.
    I have 5 of these and this is a first for me.

    I would request a video or two and see if you can see anything moving or a small critter darting around.

    I have looked extensively at most of the Picts and can’t see a thing abnormal. I know there is a lot of fog lately in the bottom where it’s located so not sure if that plays a role but I have another camera 70 yards from it with the same conditions and it’s fine.
    I think it’s a a sensor issue or moisture issue but who knows. I’ve reached out to spartan but haven’t heard back yet. Thanks for your help and I’ll let you know what I find out.

    If you can, take the camera and lay it face down in a closet, if it continues to trigger then there's a sensor problem. Is the cameras firmware up to date?

    Just because it's new doesn't mean that the firmware is up to date, look on the app on the status report screen and it will tell you.

    I just got spartan on the phone. The guy says it sounds like a sensor issue and they are just going to replace it.

    It for sure can be aggravating especially as much as the cost but I also understand it happens. As long as it’s not a ongoing issue and the turn around time isn’t bad then I’m happy.
