My phone app changed today.  Many many of the old pics I've deleted have now reappeared.  Not a huge problem, but inconvenient.

The big problem seems to be that my hunting partners who are "guests" on the app can no longer delete pics.  This can't be the way it works right?  So they will continue to accumulate pics on their phone forever?  I deleted as the administrator and the pics still show up on the guest apps.   Can someone please provide some guidance?  If this is considered an upgrade, it is actually a downgrade.

    On the portal, you won't see an HD marker. There will be an orange banner above the thumbnail that you click to see the HD photo. It's probably not there or you'd have noticed it.

    I hate this change, I have always viewed my photos daily & recommended the spartan to others. Now I don't even bother to look at the photos anymore & I wouldn't recommend this setup to anyone. Why screw up something that works just fine?  Anyone want 4 Spartans cheap???????

    What specific changes are bothering you? Perhaps there is something that can be done to fix whatever problems you are having.

    The new app download method is MUCH faster than the old one if you have a good internet connection. The old method download one photo at a time. The new method downloads several at a time (the most recent six for each camera, then when you view the gallery for the camera, all the ones between the six new ones and the last ones that were downloaded earlier).

    I run 30 or more cameras at a time. With the old app, sometimes it would take hours for photos to download. I couldn't even scroll on the home page. There were some people who were over 24 hours behind on photo downloads. The old app wasn't working fine for a lot of people with a bunch of cameras.

    I dreaded having to uninstall/reinstall the app (which we testers have to do fairly frequently) because it would take several hours for 50 photos per camera to download. Now I don't mind because the pics are downloaded really quickly.

    Why do you not bother to look at photos any more?

    Because I don't like this setup at all, counter don't work & photos appear that I've already done away with. I'll probably be surfing for other cell cams that work similar to what I use to have.

    1. When the new app installed, every photo became a new photo again. That shouldn't happen other than the first time you opened it. After that, only actual new photos should be marked as NEW and when you "mark all as viewed", those won't be new, either.
    2. The counter is a problem because the old app downloaded sequentially so photos could be counted. The new method downloads a bunch at a time, not sequentially, and not all new ones at first. The app people are looking at some kind of way to indicate new photos.
    3. If "done away with" means delete, please use purge days rather than deleting. You can set purge days on the settings tab of the app. By default, it's 30 days, just like the portal. Set it to something less (I use 7 on most devices, 3 on one with low storage). Any photo that you have not saved will be deleted after that number of days.
