Ghost battery question
-
The Ghost runs off the internal lithium. All other power sources (AA, external 12V, solar) feed the internal.
I don’t know of any comparison between GoCam and Ghost batteries.
Ghost is 12V, GoCam is 6V. I’m not an electrical person so I don’t know if there’s a way to wire 6V batteries together to make them 12V but someone will probably know.

Ok so with that being said then I would think with the internal battery and then plus 12 AA batteries it should last a long time.
Sometimes I get hogs and they stay all night and so I end up with hundreds of pictures and didn’t want to just consistently be running down AA batteries.
That’s why I use large 12ah 6v battery’s now in my go cams. As they last way longer the the 12AA in my go cams -
Since you’re dealing with hogs, maybe increase the trigger interval? The internal battery is 5300 mAh, so it’s not huge. It charges from the AA or external 12V or solar panel. If you have decent sun, putting a solar panel on a Ghost may help a lot, but hundreds of pics at night is a problem.

I’m
Not sure John. I’ll check.
I understand it’s not a large 10w but was hoping maybe would help and Help last longer.
Thank y’all for all the help!
I guess I might be better off getting some 12v Rechargeable deer Feeder batteries and using them as external battery.
Do y’all know if the ghost cams come with the battery cable for that option?
