No pictures but got a couple videos

So changed my batteries last week.  No new pictures and I have gotten about 4 random videos.  Did not change settings.  I get a random status report also.

  It sounds like you need to format the SD card. Random status reports usually means the camera took a picture and tried to send it but couldn't but the report was able to be sent.
