Batteries did not last long GG -attd

After I had changed out the batteries and checked the old ones is when I decided to pull the new ones back out and see what the voltage was. They were probably in the camera 10 minutes. That’s when I got the 1.65. When I just saw your reply I pulled the new ones out again, and now they are below 1.6. For some reason the camera is draining them really fast. I don’t see any corrosion at all.

Did you change the SD card lately? You can try defaulting the camera in it's menu, maybe it's stuck trying to do something, also cancel all pending commands. If that doesn't make a difference I would buy a cheap set of batteries and check the voltages and put them in the camera and leave it turned off and see if they drain. If they do it's got to be corrosion or a short somewhere.

I pulled all the LI batteries that I had got the 1.65 reading out of the camera the other day that I was posting about. I did not check them before I put them in the camera that day so I want sure what the voltage was. After I read your post about putting in some cheap batteries I figured I would just put those back in that were reading 1.65 the other day. I took a reading on those. Batteries before installed them and they were at 1.74. I then put them in the camera and left it in the house to let it take pictures when walking by for a few hours. Then I pulled them out and checked them they were at 1.6’s. I just checked those same batteries that have been out for a day and they are all at 1.74. They are the Energizer Lithium batteries. Also I had formatted and done a reset in the camera. The only thing I know to do is go retrieve a camera from the field and see if it does the same thing.
