Check the wires that run from the battery to the box, there's a tab you squeeze and can unplug that wire(s) and plug it back in. I think there's a few other plugs to check as well.

Thanks John I tried unplugging and re-plugging (I work in IT hahaha, so I'm used to that), but I will try again. Thanks!

When you say it's not charging are you meaning that the battery isn't charging from a solar panel or it won't power the camera? What is the voltage of the battery in the box?

sorry I should have been more clear. When I have the battery connected, it is showing on the battery box that is has a charge, but when I connect it to the camera, it doesn't get any power

Your battery in the box is dead, I think that's causing your problem

Thanks John that did the trick. You would think that 4v of power would be sufficient but I'm just glad thats all it was. Thank you again!

4v isn't even close for a 6v camera, actually once you get close to 5v you'll start seeing some inconsistency with the sending. 4 volts is also not good for an SLA battery, when they get too low it can damage the battery itself. Glad that's all it was

5.7 volts is what will show on the app when the battery is fully charged (6V or higher). You will generally get pics at 5.1 volts (battery box may show 5.6, 5.7, 5.8), but that can be dicey when the battery has been at that voltage for a while. Whenever you see that battery dropping to 5.1 (hopefully you won’t with a solar panel on it), you’ll want to change it pretty soon.

Hey I have a battery box that started getting water in it. I noticed battery was showing low and when I went and checked the battery box had a good amount of water in it. The box doesn’t seem like it’s working properly now so was just looking for advice.  The boxes are fairly expensive for this to happen.   Thanks jimmy
