IMEI on status report

I got a BAS notice that a cam was expiring , when I went into BAS I had one cam that expired the same day.   I have 3-4 dead older cams so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t renewing for a dead cam.  The camera that stopping sending pics on the same day as the notice has a different IMEI on the status report than the IMEI tied to the expiring cam on BAS.  

It’s possible, I switched the SIM on the one that stopped with a different IMEI on the status report. 

Is the status report sending the IMEI for the cam that originally was set up with the SIM or can it see the actual IMEI on the cam that has had its SIM switched ?  If it’s the actual right #, then BAS may retain the original # when the SIM was activated.  Guessing more likely BAS has the old # and doesn’t really care it was switched  

went a ahead and bought 30 days just to see if it started working.  If it does, means the status report IMEI is different than what BAS has.

  The status report should have the cameras IMEI, Buy a Session doesn't really care about the cameras IMEI so there's a good chance it got switched from another camera at some point.

  BAS uses the IMEI you typed in when you bought the plan. It never actually checks the IMEI on the camera to see if it matches the IMEI on the plan.
