What is the model numbers of the cameras? Is the firmware up to date and have you tried defaulting the cameras in the menu and formatting the SD card? How many cameras is it?

I have three cameras. On the app they show as GC-ATTi, GC-ATTb, and GC-ATT4Gb. They worked fine until the data plans temporarily expired. Haven’t tried using them until last few days.

And I have not tried defaulting or formatting the sd cards yet. I just turned cams on and they wouldn’t connect and I’ve never had that issue before. I thought it was on ATTs end because I had let plans expire for too long. They said no issue there and associated cell numbers could stay the same.

Yes. $30 each like I’ve always done.

I'm assuming they were Still on your account since it was only a few weeks. The likely hood of all three SIM cards going bad at the same time is unlikely. Try the default and format, make sure the SD cards are to spec. 32gb or smaller, class 10, 80 mbs or faster and full sized, not micros in an adapter. Also make sure the firmware is up to date.

You can also clean the SIM contacts with a pencil eraser

One camera (blackout) connected. The other two have not. One is still searching network. The other says register network failed, please check your SIM card and restart.

This is after you tried all those things I suggested?

Checked SD cards and they are good. Trying to figure out if firmware is up to date. Should be good because I updated at the same time as the older camera that is still functioning.

Look at the status report on the app and it will tell you.

Go into the menu and find the APN section. The password is 1234. Enter in there and the APN should be set to APNbl or APNbr, whichever it is change it to the other. Hit the ok button to save the change when it tells you to and back out to the main menu where you can see what the camera sees and turn the camera off and back to setup. See if it finds signal and if you can send a manual picture.

Well, on my older non blackout camera, I changed it from APNBL to APNBR but it’s still searching network. On the newer 4g cam, when I try to go into the APN setting, it says “system busy”

It should stop searching eventually. If the change doesn't work change it back. Maybe the signal is bad in the area, have you tried taking the cameras to a different location?

I haven’t but I’ve never had a service issue in this particular spot, and the cam that is working is att as well and has good service, as does my cell phone. The 4g cam stops and gives the SIM card message. The other doesn’t stop searching. Would it be worth trying a new SIM card? If so, is it just one of the att prepaid cards that I could buy at Walmart or somewhere similar?

Have you tried swapping SIMs around? If it’s a SIM problem, then the SIM that works should work in each camera and the SIMs from the non-working cameras should break the working camera.

If it’s bad SIMs, then get a prepaid bring your own phone o4 tablet SIM. Be sure you get the version that has all sizes.

I got the newer 4g camera working by deleting the camera, adding it to the account again, and buying more data through the Spartan site. The older camera still won’t connect. I tried using brand new SIM card and updating on the ATT data connect site but it won’t let me update the iccid because of 3g network going away in feb 2022.

    I’m guessing it’s not connecting because it’s a 3g camera?

Will the 3G camera work with the 4G camera’s SIM?

Tried the SIM card from 4g camera plus a brand new SIM card but no luck. Changed to brand new old style antenna and same problem. Put on new spare paddle style antenna and started working.
