New cameras won’t take pics.

I got 2 new GoCams yesterday. Purchased the correct SD cards and batteries. Followed all set up procedures. Both will only take and send one pic then nothing else. Test photos work fine. They passed the hello test. I have not yet updated software. I’m really frustrated with these cams. If I can’t make them work in my living room, how the heck can I trust them to work out in the woods.
