    Make sure you are entering the IMEI, not the ICCID. The ICCID is the longer of the two.

    what is the difference between imei and iccid?   i have the original boxes that one of my cameras came in on the end o fthe box is a model no gc-a4gb. an imei no 015081000161383 and a number at the bottom of the bar code 02573  39403. no where do i see iccid no. on the camera there is only the s/n no.  thanks

    IMEI is the specific number given to the camera to identify it. The iccid is the number on the SIM card.

    There should be a sticker inside the camera (on top of the LCD screen, I think) with the IMEI. If you can’t find it, with the camera in setup, press the Menu button, scroll to the third menu tab and down to Information and it should be there.
