New user, Help!

Brand new user and camera of the Spartan GoLive.  Everything starts up fine, connects to network with 5 bars (Verizon) but when I go to arm the camera and hit "OK" the entire camera shuts off an completely shuts down.   Will not arm.  

Tried to search the forums, and found nothing.  It will not activate.  Help!

    So there’s no flashing light on the front? When you arm the camera, the screen should go black and the buttons won’t be lit. 

    Did you take/send a manual photo? After the camera is online, point it at something, press OK to take a photo and OK when prompted and it will be sent.

    Thank you again Elizabeth for your help.  

    when I arm the camera, everything goes  black.  No feed or pictures, or live.  When I point the camera and push "OK", then screen comes back on, starts to initialize again, and in about 30-45 seconds once it reconnects with the cell tower, it indeed took one picture.  But no amount of motion will activate it and it will not connect for a live feed.

    Paul, once you arm the camera it's on and ready to detect motion. Everything inside the camera should be off and your can make all your changes or GoLive from the app. If you want to do the manual picture turn the camera from off to on and once it finds signal take the manual pic then before you arm it.

    Thank you John!  I just did not understand that arming the camera made it go completely dark.  Thanks to both of you!
