If the cameras don’t pass the Hello test, that usually means that there’s no data service.

What model cameras? (There’s a sticker over the LCD screen.) Should be GC-something.

Where did you order the cameras from?

For the two cameras that are on the app, have you gotten both a receipt for the data plan AND an activation email for each? It sometimes takes a while for the activation to make it through the system.

I don’t know what to tell you about the ICCID cam. Did the SIMs come with the cameras? I’d get in touch with TCP and ask about that SIM. If you’re in a hurry, see if you can swap out the SIM at a Verizon store or possibly buy a SIM at Walmart, Best Buy, Target, anywhere that sells SIMs.

All previous cams i own activated immediately.  All have receipts and activation emails.  The only ones that didnt activate are the 3 used i just purchased.  2 of them have receipts\activation emails...except the IICID cam obviously.

New sims came with all 3 cams.

I seem to remember entering sim#s years ago for the cams i have working.  I didnt do that with the 3 used cams\new sims.  ring a bell?

Considering the cams are used did i still need to register them or add a registration code?

To put them on your account the previous owner needs to delete them from his and then you need to register them on your account just like they were brand new, registration code and all.

I have no idea who they were. All three cams were purchased from TCpro....used. New sim cards were provided.

From TCP I'm pretty sure they won't be registered to someone else, the camera will tell you if it is when you try and get the registration code.

Make sure you have an active data plan and then hit the + sign on the app to add a new camera. Then you can scan or enter the cameras IMEI number. After that you'll go into the cameras menu and find "register camera". Click on that and it should give you a code that you'll enter in the app. You can also add the camera though the portal, my.spartancamera.com

While using the app and hitting the +....then scanning code I get the following.

    Cam 1...IICID is already active.
    Cam 2...device already registered
    Cam 3... Invalid model ID

2 of these cams are showing up on my app.

If they are on your app then they are already registered to your account. Check the information page on the cameras menu and make sure the IMEI number there matches the one on the sticker.

All 3 also show cell service bars after initializing.

Try logging out of the app and back in

Same result. Should I delete the 2 cams from portal and app and start over? Or will that Jack things up worse?

This may help the troubleshooting process. To get the three used cameras going all I did was go to the portal and manually enter the IMEI number. The cameras were off. I never entered any type of registration code. I assumed they were going to be like my previous cameras I own. Whereas all I did was log on and by the data packages for them. Evidently I missed a step in the three used camera upstart.

So you're all good and running now?

No.....just saying that could be the issue and if so....how do I fix it at this point?

Try the hello test on the cameras again, if it's not passing that then that's most likely what's causing the issues. Sometimes Verizon cameras take a little longer for Verizon to activate them or they may need to be activated manually by someone at Spartan

Hello test fails. Activated four of them last night instantly. But they were my old versions. The three used ones didn't activate. Should I delete the three used ones I attempted to activate last night and start over?

I just want to clarify that you are getting your data through Spartan and not Verizon directly?

Yes. With Spartan email receipt confirmation.

What SD cards are you using, can you post a picture. If the SIM cards are active then you should pass the hello test. Are you using the standard Spartan antenna that comes with the camera?

Same ones that are recommended and same ones currently running in other cams flawlessly. Yes, standard antennas.

I could understand if one of the 3 were not right, but all 3 are not correct in some shape form or fashion.

You can try deleting one and adding it back and see what happens. You might have to send an email to support so they can try and see if something is up. support@spartancamera.com

Didn't work either. What's the avg turn around for a call back? Left VM Sat. No return call yet.
