M or T on the bottom of the non stop pictures? You can try formating the SD card and then trying a settings update. You have both sets of start/stop times turned off now?

M is on the bottom of the photos. Both Start and Stop times are OFF. I don’t understand why formatting the SD cards should make a difference, since the cameras have worked well for months with their current SD cards, but I am trying that. Trying to make changes through camera Status on the app, since most of the cameras are a bit of a hassle to get through. I was able to see that the one camera that successfully updated its software is still sending pictures despite Start and Stop settings being OFF. I will format the card in that camera again to see if that helps.

    “get to” not “get through”

I just want to clarify there's nothing in the pictures or you just don't want pictures at those times?

I don’t want pictures at those times. I’m experimenting with changing the Start-Stop-2 settings on one camera to a 15 minute window (the smallest window possible) to see if that keeps the camera from sending pictures like it is now. (The problem is outside of my Start-Stop-1 hours, which are during the night and which seem to be working fine, as they have been doing for months).

If you use the start stop times then those times outside of the star stop widows the camera is basically off. If you turn them both off the camera is on all 24hrs and uses the main delay settings.

Please post times and whether you want pics or don’t want pics, like this:

midnight - 6 AM want pics

    6 AM - noon don’t want pics

noon - 6 PM want pics

    6 PM - midnight don’t want pics

(You will get pics during the times specified in start-stop, you won’t get pics outside those times except for event photos.)

I had been using four cameras for months without issue. I was using Start-Stop-1 only, set to start at 10 PM and stop at 5:30 AM, taking pictures every 5 sec. I also had each camera send one event (send one picture) each daytime (three of the cameras sent at 9 AM and one at 3 PM, all as directed). The problem arose when  I decided to use Start-Stop-2 on each camera during the day, when I went on a trip. I set each one to start taking pictures with motion at 6 AM, and stop at 9:30 PM, taking pictures every 5 sec. (Settings I give are approximate. I may have used a start time of 6:30 AM, for example, but I don't remember the exact start and stop times I used.) I then started getting too many pictures during that daytime period so I tried changing the photo interval on each camera to longer and longer intervals. That's when the real trouble started. Regardless of the photo interval I would sometimes get photos every couple of minutes. Frustrated, I tried turning the Start-Stop-2 to "OFF" for Start and "OFF" for Stop. Despite being OFF, supposedly, the cameras kept sending me pictures during the day. I contacted Customer Support. They initially didn't understand the problem. When they finally seemed to grasp the situation the instructions they sent were a bit confusing and would have involved, it sounded like, accessing the cameras, which are not in easy locations to access. I was able to update each camera's software remotely and (I think) reformat each camera card remotely. Despite those changes the cameras kept sending me photos during the day, even though the Start-Stop-2 was set to OFF and OFF for each camera. The cameras have continued to function normally during the night, when I'm using Start-Stop-1, as described. I have experimented with the Start-Stop-2 settings. I changed the Start-Stop-2 start time to 8 AM and the stop time to 8:15 AM, with a photo interval of 30 minutes. That seems to have resulted in a better-than-nothing workaround. Now I only get one photo, from a particular camera that the morning sun tends to set off, during that 15 minute interval, but only one (thanks, I assume, to the 30 minute photo interval). A bit frustrating, because if I try to expand the ON interval for Start-Stop-2 again will I again start getting photos at shorter intervals than every 30 minutes? We'll see. I'll experiment with the settings again to see if Start-Stop-2 works as it should.

If you could screen shot your settings and post them here it would be helpful. You may need to change your phone to desktop view to see the insert image icon on the screen

Also, make sure that the timezone is set in the camera settings on the app.

I have the correct timezone set. I will try and post a screenshot of the settings. Thanks.

First, you don't need a gap between the two time periods unless you want the cameras to be quiet during that time. 30 minutes isn't a very long quiet time but maybe that's what you want.

You can set Start-Stop 1 for 10 PM to 5:30 AM and Start-Stop 2 for 5:30 AM to 10 PM.

Second, 5 second trigger doesn't mean a photo every 5 seconds. It means that the camera stays quiet for 5 seconds after it has taken/sent a photo before it can take/send another one. I use 0 trigger on all my cameras except my feeder cameras. On feeders, I usually use 3 to 5 minutes.

Here's an article on using Start-Stop times. I don't know if it will help.
