They should hire more help then. $500 dollar cameras and no help. This is ridiculous. My camera isn’t working. New batteries, credits and data plan up to date as well as firmware. Camera turns on and appears normal. Status update request won’t go through and it shows the last one completed in 2020.

They’re trying to hire help but you can’t just hire any old person off the street. They have to actually know/learn something about cameras. Heck, if fast food joints are having trouble hiring unskilled labor, what do you think companies looking for skilled workers are doing?
What happens when you do a Hello test? (Camera logged in to the network, press Menu, scroll to fourth menu tab, down to Diagnostic, Hello test) -
The excuses for someone charging considerably more than competitors and relying on users to solve their own problems astounds me. It’s like taking the blame for why an abuser does what they do.
I can’t do a Hello test. The camera is two states away. (The reasoning behind spending the extra money for a quality product) It worked flawlessly for years. Conveniently until the warranty expired. -
You did not mention that your camera is two states away so how could we guess that? You said that the camera turns on, so it sounded like you might have had your hands on it very recently and that you might still be about to get it in hand.
Please post a screen shot of the status report from the app, including the signal/battery indicator down through the SD card info. Perhaps we can tell something from that. We do need some basic information if there's any hope of being able to help you.
(Spartan is not relying on users to resolve their own problems and no one is trying to abuse you or anybody else.)
