Looks like all of your post isn't showing, what are the other camera models? Have you checked your data plans to make sure they are active? How long were the batteries dead? Is the firmware up to date on the cameras? Trying going into the cameras menu and formatting the SD card and defaulting the camera.

have 4 cameras two GC-Z4GB2 and two GC-Z4GB. I’ve had them for a couple years and all worked great until the batteries died while they were in the woods…one was dead and left there for a few weeks and one was only a couple days of that. The only camera I have still working is one that I have changed out the batteries before it died. I have read on the previous forums and tried the APN settings, new SD cards, formatting the cards, default, hello test which failed and I have plenty of credits left and data plan with Verizon is up to date. I’ve never had a issue before except with the SD card going bad but I’ve replaced them and formatted it so I’m not sure what the issue is. How do I check/complete a firmware update?

Look at the status report on the app and it should tell you about your firmware. I would also check with Verizon that the plans are still active, sometimes they get deactivated accidentally. With the APN you tried changing it to custom and vzwinternet?

Ok I’ll check the firmware on the app, does the camera need to be on for this? Yes I did that exactly for the APN.

You will probably need to update the FW manually because over the air doesn’t work if the camera isn’t connected. Here’s a link to the page with instructions and the files to download.

You can just look at the app, the last report it sent will show the current firmware.
