You didn’t mention which model camera you have, but all AT&T model cameras ship with a Spartan SIM in them. Spartan SIMs will only work for Spartan data plans. AT&T is happy to activate the SIM and take your money but the SIM does not work on their network on data plans through them.

You’ll need to cancel the data plan through AT&T, get a refund, and activate your camera on a Spartan data plan.

I have an unlimited data plan with AT&T, an AT&T SIM card, I ordered specifically to be compatible to AT&T... This makes no sense.

What model camera? Do you mean you have a different AT&T SIM that you got from AT&T or are you referring to the SIM that came with the camera?

AT&T cameras work on the AT&T network, but it has hardly ever been cost effective to put them on your AT&T account, even when the GoCams were shipping with stock AT&T SIMs. For the older cameras that shipped with AT&T SIMs, people usually bought Buy-A-Session, with the most cost-effect plan being the $75/4G/1 year plan if you run the camera all year.

GoLive camera and the SIM that was provided by Spartan.  SIM shows active on my Spartan account, but no signal.

I now have a "Spartan plan", premium credits, but no function.

Has the camera been deleted from your AT&T account?

If you have a Spartan plan, you don’t need premium credits because they are included.

Please get in touch with support, 770-582-0004. That’s going to be the fastest way to get this straightened out. The two of us who monitor this support forum are camera test team members, not regular Spartan employees, so we don’t have access to any of the information needed to troubleshoot your camera and correct the problem.

Thanks for checking back in and letting us know. That’s very strange, but at least you’re on your way to getting it straightened out.
