The 3g SIM card can't be used in the 4g cameras. ATT won't activate them. To use ATT as your service directly you would need to get a SIM card from ATT. They are doing away with the buy a session plans so it's cheaper to go with the Spartan shared data plans.

When are they going away with the buy a session plans?  They still show up.  Looking at the spartan plans, it looks like it is only economical for a two camera setup.  Otherwise the att plan is cheaper.  I have a Spartan Gocam on the AT&T data plan that expires the end of July 2022.  I still have 8 premium credits.  How do I get a new Gocam and save money with the Spartan data plans?

I think right now if you keep your buy a session plan active it will still work but I'm not sure you can add another camera to it. You can get the Spartan plan now and then add the buy a session camera to it when that expires.

You can’t get another Buy-A-Session plan, although (for now, at least), you can continue the plan(s) you already have.

Here’s a breakdown of the costs for all combinations of data plans and number of cameras. This may help you decide and keep you from having to do all the math to figure out what is your best option.

For comparison, this is what DataConnect plans cost:
