Force connect to server remotely

Is there a way to force the camera to connect to the server for setting update remotely? This camera watches our camp and I changed the settings while at camp and need to change back but the camera won’t be triggered to send a photo for weeks. I tried to request status update and that doesn’t seem to work. Thanks

  The camera sends at least one status report a day, usually at midnight unless you change the time. Your settings should update then.

  You may want to use scheduled events to get the camera to check in several times a day. All mine check in about every 3 hours and send at least three pics a day (9 AM, 3 PM, and 9 PM).
