Signal searching

I have a camera that has been working fine this whole season, wasn’t getting pictures and went checked on it, camera says signal searching and that’s it. Things I’ve done: Reset the sd card and sim I do have credits Firmware says it’s up to date Battery says 3/4 full on camera HELP I have 4 spy points and they never through me around this bad My plan is through spartan

    Hey John, the mode is GC-A4gb2
    It says DSP:2019/10/02 00:00:50
    Firmware update: firmware up to date
    Again I just got this cam last winter and first time I used it all year was in September and it’s been fine up until this point

    The latest firmware for that camera is 3/23/2022. Unfortunately, you need to update manually but the firmware files are temporarily unavailable for download. Hopefully they will be back up soon. 

    (You’re getting the firmware up to date message because the latest update has to be done manually, not over the air.)

    So your telling me I’m stuck with a brand new 200 dollar camera that doesn’t work and I can’t fix it right now ? Why would just fine this fall up until this point ?

    Here's the list and instructions, Like Liz mentioned there's some that aren't on the list right now. Maybe try emailing support and maybe they can email you the file. support@spartancamera.com

    When can you expect the firmware update to be on the list ? This is a pretty bad inconvenience to your guys customers that I got a camera out there that I can’t fix because I’m at the mercy of a update that you guys don’t even have available for me to fix it ! Sorry I had high hopes for these cameras but even SPYPOINT cheap cameras don’t have to go through this bologna. Anyway, how long does it take to update to be “available “

    A problem with the firmware files was discovered recently so they were taken offline to be fixed. There are probably 45 or 50, maybe more (one for every different model number and there are lots of models) so it’s taking a little while for the engineers to update them.

    please email support@spartancamera.com with your model number and ask for the firmware file.
