Is there any way to shorten the delay from pic to video start?

I have a GC-G4Gb-MO/Ghost (Verizon 4G) Blackout .

It seems there is a 2-3 second delay from taking a pic to starting the following 10 second video.. ..during that time, the subject (usually a deer in my case) has almost left the frame before the video starts.  Is there any way to shorten that time between the picture and the video starting?

  There is no way to shorten the time. If your camera isn’t mounted at an angle to the travel path, try angling it to increase the time the animal is in the frame.

  Dan, what Liz suggested can make a big difference. Also, just so you know the GoLive cameras start the video at the same time as the pic is taken, something to consider if you are thinking about getting more cameras.
