    The cameras send instantly unless you have them set to batch mode. The pics are getting to the server within a minute or so.

    You didn’t mention whether you are running Android or iOS, but iOS can’t download in the background for some reason.

    It is an Android. The camera has always sent pics usually within one or two minutes. Now sometimes they don't send until I open the app.

    The camera sends the pictures immediately to the portal (server/web site). The portal, not the camera, sends them to your phone. The camera cannot delay sending pics unless it is set to batch send, which some models can do.
