"SD Card Lock"....

Good morning.

 

My camera was taking a crazy amount of pictures with no movement detected so I trouble shot it to be possible ants inside the housing.  I took the 4 screws off, lifted the housing cover and sure enough....hundreds of ants with larva.  Anyway,  I forget to remove the SD card when doing this and I bent the slot where the SD card goes in.  Didn't look too bad, the SD card slid back in, camera turned on but on the screen said, "SD Card Lock"  or something like that.  It will not take pictures.  Did I ruin my camera or is there hope?

  First off I would put that camera in the freezer for two or three days to make sure all eggs and larva are dead. Secondly, did you check the slide lock on the Sd card to make sure it's unlocked?
