Clear Cache Question

How can I turn off the Clear Local Cache feature and are those pictures permanently gone? I have a few Go Live 2s. Also, where in the new app does it identify the name of the camera like it used to (not just the model number)?

  You can't turn off that clear local cache, it's 30 days right now max. Just save the pictures that you don't want deleted and they won't be removed. Camera name should be the same and listed on the homescreen (main camera list/view)

  They are permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved? The camera name used to be on settings or status, now it is on none of the screens.

  They should still be on the SD card as long as it hasn't been formatted or overwritten. Andoid or iphone? The camera name isn't showing on the homescreen where all your cameras are? It should be on the status report page and settings page, at least it is on my droid.

  Camera name is on Home Screen, status report, and settings for me on both iPad and Android.
