You don't need to have Spartan data to use the GPS, I'm assuming you are using the app correct? What is the camera model? Were locator and tracker both turned on in the camera settings before the camera was stolen?

Apparently the locator and tracker were not turned on.  It's a US Cellular GoLive GL-ULTEb, but when using the app the "tracker" feature isn't an option.

Check and see if you turn on locator if the option to turn on tracker is there. If you are using the app then you have Spartan premium service. What is the internal battery voltage on the last status report that the camera sent?

Thanks!  Instead of selecting "settings" on the app I selected the camera itself and the "show map" option came right up.  Thank you so much for the quick reply and the assistance!

Thank you again for the assistance but we were not able to retrieve the camera.  It was apparently disposed of in a highly wooded area, and the camouflage design is obviously well done.  After reviewing the location accuracy on another camera we have, I believe we can retrieve it once we enlarge our search area.  Thanks again.

I have used the GPS to find a camera that I set up on new property that when I went back I couldn't remember exactly where I hung it. I would open the location on your phone/app and then walk around. You'll probably see when you walked too far past the camera and can backtrack from there. Go in different directions and I'll bet you can narrow down the area that you are looking in.
