Inside Menu Screen Not Working

GC-Z4Gb the inside viewing screen will not come on. I have put brand new batteries and tried several different SD cards. The green light on the outside of the screen continues to blink. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

  Turn the camera on and take out all the batteries and disconnect any external power. Turn the camera off for a few seconds and then back to set up. Leave the camera in set up and start putting the batteries back in, see if the camera screen comes on then.
