    Tap the menu button on the homescreen of the app and then tap add new camera. It will walk you through the setup process.

    It doe's not pass the hello test.

    I have my service through verizon , I should not have to select a plan through Spartan the only thing I ever pirchased from Spartan were credits.

    Correct, I would check with Verizon and make sure that plan is active. You can also default the camera and see if that helps
    You might need to manually update the firmware too.

    The account is active it is showing the new IMEI number that is on the camera but the new SIM card number is not showing on the account it must be the old SIM card number still showing on the account. I took the camera to the Verizon store a couple of weeks back and they supposedly set up the new SIM card , I will go back and see them again and tell them what is going on.I can only assume that the old SIM card number is why the camera will not register.

    I went to the Verizon store we got the sims card issue resolved , down loaded new firm ware , sent hello test at least three times entered format and defaulted the camera once, hello test was a success then tried  to test camera with movement and commands with my phone with power saving off and still no pictures yet.

    What should I look for now ?

    Turn the camera to set up and when it finds signal press the ok button once to take a picture and then press it again to send the picture. Watch what happens and what it says on the screen. You talk about old and new SIM card, is this a brand new camera?

     This is a brand new camera.

    No updates but it is showing the following when I enter an update setting :

     ( Request Update Settings2023-08-06 20:52:27 CancelAll settings are set to defaultRequest Retrieve Settings2023-08-06 20:52:25 Cancel(5) Scheduled Event [01]-Hour of Day : 00 --> 21 )

    When taking and  sending a picture it will attempt to send the picture "retrying " a few times and then when it finally quits resending it will display a message saying the SD card may be bad.

    This event I noticed today after turning the camera off and then turning the camera back on It display's a message " server error no longer registered " and then I have to go to the register camera mode and re register the camera.

    Have you tried a different SD card? I would try a different SD card and format it in the camera and then default the camera again.

    That card will definitely not be to spec, you can try it but it's probably not going to work. You want a card that's 32gb or smaller, class 10, 80 mbs or faster and a full sized card ( not a micro in an adapter)

    I did not know that it is an adapter it has never been opened in the package it looks the same size but I will do what you say and go find one meeting the specs that you provided.

    The 2gb probably isn't, I was just giving you the specs for what you need
