Gocam taking pics every ten minutes

Got this camera last year for Christmas and just put it out today for the first time. It keeps taking pictures every ten minutes. I have it set to motion detect, I have updated the firmware. Also I tried changing the settings in the app and they change back.

    Is there an M or a T on the info strip at the bottom of the picture?

    Put the camera face down in a closet or drawer and see if it still does it. Is there any chance ants got inside the camera?
