A T on the info strip means time lapse is turned on, the camera will send a picture at the interval whether there's something there or not. Turn that off and then you should only receive motion triggered pictures.

Johnny got you on the T thing.

GoCams don’t have internal batteries so you can’t charge them.

Thank you Johnny. I think it’s working properly now. I’ve had one picture taken in about 3 hours and it showed the pesky hogs. Elizabeth, I charged the internal battery in the solar charger while setting up the camera. I do appreciate your replies very much.

Again, I want to thank you both for your replies. May I ask a couple more questions for clarification? Camera 1 took one picture of the hogs with a “M” in the taskbar. Camera 2, in my front yard, has taken a few pictures of my dog with a “U” , a picture of me with a “F” and an owl with a “M”. What are these letters, U, F signify? How do the cameras change without me doing the changes?

U means a Firmware update completed, F means a Format of the SD card was completed and M indicates a motion triggered photo. Had you requested a format and firmware update?

You should have gotten just one photo with a U on the info strip, after a firmware update completed. If you requested an SD card format, you should have gotten one photo with an F on the info strip.

If you’re interested in the other letters, here’s an article with that info.
