Power setting bouncing between p5 to p1

I have new 6 volt battery hooked up with 4 lithium batteries in for back up I want to know why it keeps showing p5 then bounces to p1 on the next picture

  Are the pictures when the flash is used the ones showing P1? The 4 lithium are they in the two top slots and two bottom slots all the way to the left?

  Yes 4 lithium’s are far left top and bottom and it actually looks like the pics are right at first light not using flash when they show p1 all night they took pics with p5 thanks for your help

  Have you checked the connectors on the external battery and the connection between the cable and the camera?
