I like photo + video and set to 5mp. Set the video to the highest size and 10 seconds and make sure record sound is on. The delay will depend on if you are on a trail or feeder. Keep the power save turned on.

I don’t know if you’ve been using scheduled events with your 3G cameras, but with the 4G and photo + video, I like having the camera check in about every 3 hours so I don’t have to wait too long for a video if I request one.

My camera are set to send pics at 9 AM, 3 PM, and 9 PM, plus status reports at midnight, 3 AM (this takes care of updating the time when then time changes), 7 AM (because I get up around 6 so I have time to see if there are any videos I want to request), noon, and 6 PM.

Large thumbnails, obviously. 0 trigger interval (not recommended for a feeder cam or for one with a lot of repetitive traffic).

Thanks Johnny and eswoope,  I will definitely give these a shot.  I have not used the scheduled events, but will try them, sounds like it will work well.  Does the 4 g/LTE require the use of the included antenna?  I use these cameras on hog traps and mount them to a telescoping tower that I build.  I also have been having very good success with a Wilson Electronics dual band magnetic mount antenna.  Will this antenna work on the 4 g/LTE?

    Thanks again for the help,

    Carl

I would say to try it Carl, set it up with the stock antenna and see how many bars of signal strength it shows and then switch over to the Wilson and see how it compares.
