2 cameras.same day. All Tests failed, no commands working, no status updates
Both cameras taking pictures but are not sending pics/ taking commands/ failing tests. one 3g and the other 4g. reboot done on both, default settings done on both. Brand new energizer lithium batteries. Firmware up to date. premium credits good. instant/premium on. test photo says setting then failed. Hello test failed. premium test failed. called Verizon because it sounded like an issue on their part but they say everything is fine. Installed new SIM card for 4G.

Do not, under any circumstances, cancel the 3G from your Verizon account or you will not be able to add it back. There is no reason for you to remove the cameras from your Verizon account or from your Spartan account.
I see that both fail the Hello test. That means that they are not connected to the Verizon network so it looks like you have a Verizon problem, regardless of what Verizon says. On the 3G, ask Verizon to do a DMU key reset.
Does Verizon throttle unlimited data at some point? If so, might you be at that point? That will affect the 4G but not the 3G. -
The original code won't work, you'll need to get a new one the same way you did the first time. If you want to email me your portal log in information I can look at it and see if anything looks out of place. My email is Johnny.lockburner@spartancamera.com

When this happens to mine I have to call verizon and request a reprovision/reactivation. They have told me everything was fine but in the end this is what I have to do. You will need the phone number of the device, pin for your verizon account, MEID of device, zip code of current location of device, billing address of verizon account. Their best number is 18009220204. You WILL need the device in hand.

Same thing happened to me today on my AT&T camera. Everything failed in the setup mode. Would not send a test pic. Said setting.... for a few seconds then nothing. Tried the hello test. It failed. Tried defaulting twice. Tried a brand new class 10 card formatted in the camera. Nothing was working. I finally remembered this happened before and I just skipped the setup option on the on/off/setup switch and went straight to ON. Everything works fine now.
