You shouldn't need to do anything with the camera/ Spartan account to get it working. Just activate the sim card and put it in the camera. Depending on the model the camera may need a firmware update. If you are using premium do you have premium credits? Where did you get the sim card? The one you had from last year should still have been good.

Let me check the firware update.  When I disconnected the camera and service last year, the AT&T guy told me the SIM card would no longer work.  He gave me a new one at the AT&T store, and set it up for the game camera.  I have premium credits.  When I go to wireless subscriptions on the computer, it says I have no wireless subscriptions.  I just tried to go to att.com/buyasession to see if I could figure out how to connect my SIM card, and it says the SIM card is already in use, so I can't do anything there.  I tried sending a pic, and it won't send.

I have no idea what I did, but maybe it's just finally asking for help after 2 days of messing with it.  It's working and sending pics.  Thank you, johnnydeerhunter, for your help.  My Dad just passed away, and I'm having to use the camera to monitor people trying to get in his gate.  I wish it was something as fun as game pics.  Merry Christmas.

loyelovell, sorry to hear about your dad. I'm glad the camera is up and running for you again, maybe it just needed a few off and ons to get it back working.

Loyelovell, sorry to hear about your loss.

Just FYI (and for others reading the thread), wireless subscriptions on the Spartan Camera web site refer to data plans you buy from Spartan Camera. If you have cameras on your phone account (Verizon, USC, etc.) or on AT&T Buy-A-Session, you will not have any wireless subscriptions on the SC web site.

If your camera is still on your AT&T BAS account, all you have to do to change SIMs is edit the device and type the new SIM’s ICCID in place of the old SIM’s ICCID.

If you delete the device from the BAS account when you’re done using the camera, you can reuse the SIM later (or at least that’s how it’s worked for me). You need to do it within 60 days of the plan expiring, but sooner is better.
