Lost Photos/Videos

So I have a camera set up at home for security purposes and this morning I noticed a photo from last night of someone in a place they should not be.  Go to the site and find indeed there had been a break in.  So, through the web portal I requested a video download of that picture, however the video I received was of the very next picture (me going outside).  Going back to the picture library I now notice the option for downloading a video for the photo in question is not available, meaning I did select the correct one.  I then went to the phone app and it allowed me to request the video; but after the next event the video does not download and it tells me the file is not available.

So, I go outside and take down the camera and try to manually scroll through the photos and viola, there are no photos on the SD card, none.  I pull the card and insert into my computer and the folders are there but no photos. 

The camera had been working perfectly until the time I actually needed it to.

Any idea what in the world happened?

    It sounds like you have a bad memory card, look at the picture numbers on the portal, are the pictures numbered in order or do they all have the same number?

    All the same number.  This is a SanDisk Ultra 48MB/s 16Gb.  I have had trouble with these before, switching back to the SDHC 32Gb's.

    Just be sure it's a class 10 and format it in the camera
