new sd card and the same problem, not sending pics, just like everyone is saying after the app update, and no i could not get the firmware to update, o,t,a like it should. brings up the question why aint we notified of firmware up dates so we can update are cameras,in a timely matter , bottom line all was working fine untill this app change, i been with spartan for 3 years, first year was great, then all the the changes they made things worse as the years went by, I should mention the camera worked for a day after the new sd card, and today have not gotten anything, sorry for being a pain, but this frustrates me

Are the pictures going to the portal or not? Are the missing pictures on the SD card when you check it? What model camera is it?
If the FW won’t update OTA, updating by putting the FW on an SD card and doing the process manually should work for you. Sometimes, if the camera’s FW is fairly old, the OTA update won’t work.
The new app isn’t the cause of your problems, although it may seem like it. I’ve been running the new app in various versions for months on several difference devices, both iOS and Android. The app has no effect whatsoever on your cameras. I’m running between 25 and 30 cameras at any time, from the old 3G AT&T and Verizon models up to the new W (“Ghost”).
The app is still under development. One of the additions will be that you’ll be able to view the latest FW version from the app and request the OTA update from the app. It’s certainly not nearly as convenient to have to remember to check the portal from time to time.

Jeff you really need to get that firmware update on the camera, 2017 firmware is very old and many of those updates dealt with connection issues. When I did look at your information there were gaps in the pics before the firmware update so I really don't think the app has anything to do with it.
